Why do I struggle to form close relationships? I can get along fine with most people and have had friends, but never any close ones. It's all very surface-level stuff.

I'm not autistic or anything like that, but I find animals easier to bond with than other humans.

I don’t know you anon. I don’t know your psyche. What’s your relationship with your parents like? What are your emotions like when you’re trying to meet people or strengthen existing friendships?
