the only thing i do rn is that i practice a martial art as a hobby but i havent really dedicated all the time i would like to exercising to be stronger, i have a piano that is only collecting dust, idk how my duolingo streak is still alive, sometimes i daydream about making a youtube channel and do videos about history like the american civil war and the ww1 which are topics i like and learn about during my adolescense, but just spend the day doomscrolling and bed rotting, i dont even know hot to edit videos but yeah

Set a bare minimum you'll do each day and always make up for if you miss. Just like a 10min duolingo or something. Then slowly increase the time doing things like this as it becomes easier and a habit.

This is pretty much the only way long-term neets themselves are going to get themselves out of it. Often times, even 10 minutes of work feels daunting after you've done jack shit daily for years
If someone is too far gone though, the only way they'll be able to be productive is if their parents get sick of them and kick them out
