Every shred of data we have shows without fail that the vast majority of people date and marry within their relative groups - age, race, income, social status, culture, religion, attractiveness level etc., You can find exceptions everywhere but the statistical reality is that 9s end up with 9s, 5s with 5s and 2s with 2s. Its just empirically true. Ugly people aren't pairing up with really hot people in any significant numbers and even those cases are just exceptions to the rule - cases where an ugly person is able to compensate SO much in another area that they were able to overcome a massive physical handicap. These people are still the minority.

That's irrelevant. Fat and ugly women marry men they aren't attracted to. Many eventually divorce rape them. In many cases there is one-directional attraction; there are men that like all different types of fat and ugly and also men will tolerate anything if it means sex.

All I can say is that its not only statistically obvious but its just empirically obvious. Ok. Even if I concede that nothing about the core reality is different. The vast majority of people date and marry people who are roughly as attractive as them. This is just true. If you want to argue about why we can but that's an entirely separate conversation. Also, for clarity the generalities I'm making are about western dating. I don't know how people rate attractiveness in like asian or arab countries.
