Dating women with kids?
I am considering maybe dating a woman who happens to have kids already. I actually do like her personality a lot and she is nice to be around. However, I am incredibly inexperienced when it comes to dating. Let alone interacting with kids. I think her kid may be like 10 years old or something. What can you say advice wise about the dating dynamic of dating someone with kids? I would be lying if I said it didn't sort of bother me but she alluded to her breaking up with her kids father because he had a gambling problem that only came about years after knowing him when he was I guess not addicted to gambling. What do you guys think? Is dating women with kids generally a bad idea or it really depends?

It seems fine to me, as long as you know how to look after and love the kids effectively.

The main thing to know is that you will also be fathering the kid, so make sure you are okay with that

It depends. You need to understand that her kids will always be more important to her than you are, and that the only way you and her will ever move in together is if you are willing to become a stepfather. That said, she isn't necessarily looking for someone to move in with; having children doesn't prevent a person from wanting to just hang out with someone and have fun.

Idk, it seems like you're just taking on more responsibility for no reason. There are plenty of women who don't have kids.

You're in for a world of hurt, anon. There's always two sides to every story, and she may not be the good person in the story of her previous relationship.
