Getting back into the workforce at 29
Haven’t worked since 2016, (neet) what do I put on my resume?

Is it ok to put small lies or just fluff it up? Even my temp agency told me to just fill it with stuff I could have done

Do what your temp agency said. Also are you physically fit or no? If not, spend some time walking a bunch so you get your stamina back. Even if it's just back and forth in your back yard or whatever. Gassing out in 5 minutes of work while even old people outpace you is really bad.

I quit going to work after I realized 90% of the time I'm just wasting my time doing pointless shit nobody cares about and not getting ahead in life.
I worked there a lot over the past 12 years and the wagie community was a major factor in my decision to not work anymore. NEETs did it to an extent as well but WAGIES are far worse.
Someone could give a long drawn out and factually accurate explanation of what would have to happen for me to even be able to one day buy a home and have a family and why working was fraudulent. The post would get a dozen responses of
>WHY SHOULD YOU EAT?
>when you know you know
>economic collapse is coming
>stack metals the end is nigh
>keep waging faggot
>100% eoy silver will reach 5k an ounce
Or some equally long schizo post explaining numerology, using bible scripture and random posts here explaining how by the end of the year billions will be unemployed because of the AI.
Here we are.
After seeing the nothingburger today I came here just to watch the seething and suicide letters. It’s beyond EOY, the jobs didn't disappear, the banks didn't collapse (unfortunately), no more use cases and all the dirty laundry is out in the air now.
It’s not going to be Millennial's Economic Paradise, it will not be the Roaring 20's all over again. The world will not be descending into hyper deflation and prosperity (as was obsessed over for months/years) it will be going on as usual with no major gains or rewards.
I will enjoy watching wagies burn every step along the way.
Why?
Because those fucking idiots deserve it all.

Lies are wrong for you and worse for those who hear them. You can make the truth sound dandy. Like volunteering community service or working on your business when it is really just recycling cans, etc.

Well you will not get the job if you tell the truth

I lied in my CV. If they found, they found out. The way I see it im only applying to entry jobs anyway, I'll just move on.

So...does your mommy pay for you to survive or what? Or is it the government?

>Haven’t worked since 2016
Naah, you're still working there today in 2025.
They're probably not going to check and even if they do, what will happen? If 99% of HR ghost you anyway regardless, that one can join the 99%, but someone will hire you.
This is problematic if the company went out of business since 2016 (like if you worked for Radio Shack or Blockbuster Video).
This is an interesting excuse to use for why you're looking for a job. "well I worked at the same job since before 2016 so I want to try something new"
