>I just want to get to a decent pace/time/distance before I join
Ok, good for you on achieving a good physique, but let's pretend you had the same attitude about lifting once upon a time that you do about running now. In other words, you wouldn't have joined the gym or picked up a weight until you already muscles, I guess by magic or something, because you were scared of looking foolish or not being the best right from the start.
Where do you think you would be today with this mindset? Would you still have that good physique? We both know the answer is no.
>and I am scared that my muscles will limit me.
They won't. This is pure cope. You're not Ronnie Coleman or Jay Cutler anon, you may have muscle but not so much it's literally slowing you down. Now, your shit CONDITIONING might limit you, but the way to get better at running is by...more running.
>I just don't have any friends and never had a girlfriend.
>I am too ugly for all the girls who run
Sorry to hear, but none of this has anything to do with running or lifting and they do not make your copes and misconceptions about fitness correct.
Again, I run, lift, and literally teach people how to run and lift for a living. Please anon, don't argue with me.
