>Oh, I get it. You are trolling me. Christ was forsaken by God. He was without God.
No, you are not being trolled. You are just being ignorant on purpose. Use your brain for 5 seconds pal. What happened after Christ had thought He was forsaken? After he died on the cross and was buried in a tomb? Big surprise, He was resurrected then ascended to God. Wow looks like He wasn't forsaken after all.
Why did Christ think that He was then? Because He was the son of man as well as God. He was both man and God. And as man, endured despair as He died. He experienced what it is like to feel forsaken by God, just as we do. That was the point; to demonstrate by example that God is larger even than despair. Even larger than Hell too, Christ even goes to Hell after death before resurrection.
>We reject God in the story of eden
We disobey.
>We are to be like God's
Yes, and we screwed the pooch on that. So Christ showed the example on how to do that properly. That is why He said "None may go to the father except through Me." He meant that literally. None may go to God unless you do as Christ did, or at least try.
>God is Creator of evil.
Nonsense. Supposing you commit an evil action today, can I go and persecute your father for creating you? No. Because you alone are responsible through your own free will. Don't blame God for evil. Blame those who do evil.
>Christianity is a rejection of that
No it's not, it's an acceptance and then a responsibility for that.
>The mystery makes more sense when viewed from the lens of politics
Incorrect. Whoring your faith to politics eventually leaves you with zero faith. Which you already demonstrated by equating God to fairytale.
You don't understand because you don't want to. You'd rather rely on your own understanding and reject God's. I strongly suggest you find out what it is you truly mean before your life is over.
