I just graduated and took the bar exam. Yeah it is difficult, but far from impossible. Just put in the effort doing the reading and studying and you'll be fine. Generally requires around 4 hours of reading/prep for every 2 hours of class during the first year, the assignments are a huge pain in the ass, and some of the teachers suck. But I enjoyed it and did very well.

You don't have to be very smart. Consider that there are many women lawyers, and women tend to be more midwitted than men. If you are above average IQ you will definitely do fine.
