Should I go to a nightclub by myself this Friday? Basically the only time I did well sexually was when I was a 19 year old student and went to nightclubs and hit on women there. One time I even had sex with a woman I had just met at a club after asking her if she wants to fuck after buying her a drink. I've had nowhere near the same amount of success on dating apps and stopped going to nightclubs cus I was too shy to go alone. But should I try going to a nightclub alone now as a 27m?

I think a big part of whether you get laid in a nightclub is your attitude and how you act but I don't think I'd have the confidence to dance alone or hit on random women unless they were alone too and I doubt many women will be alone in a nightclub for long.

I'm considering it though out of desperation...

Second, to answer your question, you will find it much harder as someone in your late 20s. Unless you're truly >8/10 or already live the "party" lifestyle with female burnouts your age, most guys age out of being a fuckboy by 30.
You can go but don't get your hopes up. Also going to clubs alone in general sucks, just find one bro to go with you. You have to have at least one, right?

Last time I went it was full of males and few females. 3/10s were acting like 7/10s. Nobody got together, the only guys who took girls home were the ones who came with their girlfriend. It's summer so there will be fewer students obviously but it's pretty dead during the school year too. Same attitudes, same bullshit.

Has been my general experience with clubs, even when I was a /fit/ youngster. And I'm 6'3", I'm usually the tallest guy in the crowds. Not chopped either because I've been in relationships with decent looking girls for most of my adult life so far.

I'm OP and that experience of nightlife when I was 19 was in Newcastle which is purportedly one of the best night life cities in UK to be fair.

My experience is from coastal cities in the US - NYC, Boston, Los Angeles, Baltimore, New Orleans, Seattle, etc (I travel a lot for work and have moved around a lot in my life)
I really don't know what's happened in the last 10 or 15 years to dating and clubbing culture in this country. Women present more sexually than ever especially online but are icy cold prudes when you try to get something going with them IRL.

Then back home to my small town with no nightlife, where never ever happens.

I have stopped trying and have given up. No more pressure to do shit in life, no need to worry about women, or work, or children, or friends, or anything else for that matter. Just me and my digital distractions and food of course. I'm happier now than I was before when I kept trying and grinding and failing and going nowhere. I simply didn't get the results I wanted no matter how hard I tried, but the most important was there were simply not enough opportunities, there were of course just not plentiful enough and the few opportunities that arose didn't bear much fruit if any.
