I think I'm over it.
I just ragquit uninstalled dota 2 for the last fucken time. Total war games bore me, EU4 is just so tedious. I just can't do it anymore bros, I think I've finally hit that wall. Sinking half a day into some epic campaign just feels so empty. Being 'good' at a game gives me 0 satisfaction anymore. I downloaded Dawn of War 2 and to my surprise Last stand is still kicking and its was refreshing to be reminded of a time when games where just games, and not some convuluded secondary life simulator.
Maybe I'm finally growing up? Hell I'm 34. l I play my steam deck more and its usually just some roguelike flavor of the month bullshit (quite liking peggle atm). I am finding myself more drawn to games with a satisfying gameplay loop, not one I actually have to try in.
How are you handling your life defining hobby anons? I feel I need a big genre shift into something more casual. Any suggestions?
