Help me combat my depression
I've been a miserable lonely type of guy for a long time really but recently my depression has hit dangerous, Serious mentall illness levels. I've been a very unmotivated dead inside person lately, Can barely get up in the morning and just sleepwalking my way through life. Everybody started pointing out how sad I seem all the time. If this doesn't stop or get better I can see myself neglecting my life or even ending it.
Please help me; Recommend any means.

Lots of things you can try. Lifestyle changes: force yourself to go for at least a 30 walk outside every day, force yourself to drink water, try to eat healthier, try to minimize light and noise in your sleeping environment

Socially: force yourself to spend time with family and close friends, tell others about mundane aspects of your life

Medically: see a shrink, go to a doc that specializes in depression (they normally have their own clinics you can look up), try to get on a medicine, if it doesn't work within a month tell your doctor and ask for a different one, tell family you are trying meds, tell them if you experience side effects, might even want to take a sibling or smth to the doctors appointment I do that for my wife

Hope you get better

Came here to say something similar. Depressed people generally don't like to hear it, but the truth is there are always at least a few things you within your power to fix that will at least shift you from "suicidal" to "bad." If you eat like shit, stay up late gaming, and don't exercise, you already know what some of those things are. Address those things because it's the least you can do; don't expect it to make you happy. That being said, something as small as cleaning your room could cheer you up more than you'd think.

Your environment is probably very toxic and you should start launching yourself out instead of wallowing

Yeah all the above but i also recommend getting a Hobby like fitniss. Try to find things you can enjoy in live.

You have to figure this out. 4chan can't tell you what you like or what you need to be happy. Put effort into really think about how you got to be so unhappy and what all it would take to be happy. Maybe moving, cutting some people off, trying something else. You have to determine what it's gonna take to be happy again and put a plan in place to create that reality for yourself. It doesn't just happen on its own. You have to choose happiness and protect your peace of mind. set boundaries and love yourself. Start putting yourself first.

No. Think happy thoughts and do happy things. Sounds trite but it's really as simple as that. Your problem is not your mood but where you choose to put your attention, and you get a perverse satisfaction from being sorry for yourself and wearing your diagnosis as a label.

I am horribly depressed also, I am trying to focus on things like weight loss and keeping sober. Also I recognize that music is a major distraction from the bad so I get obsessive researching and listening to stuff. Whatever hobby takes you out of it focus on it.

When you are at this point, you actually should be considering medication.
