Do you believe that Jesus is God?
Do you believe any any other way to salvation other than through the blood of Jesus?
Really these are the big two things and a lot of denominations will ad one or two other requirements but as long as you have these two I think you are on the right track.
Orthodox is a great group to start with, they believe in the book and not a lot more.
Catholics have some tradition that is based in sound interpretation of the book.
Baptists focus on a personal relationship in God and require little ritual.
Quaker believe that you should read the book and figure out what is right through study.
I think every thing else is some graduation between these groups. I love them all as they are my brothers in Christ.

Hope you find a church.

It's made up nonsense
Imagine the guy was reading off Tolkien instead of the Bible. You literally wouldn't give a shit. It's just mass psychosis.

Why do you want to be a christian?

>prot if your priority is israel
>cath if your priority is the global south
>ortho if your priority is the fall of the west
>noahide if your priority is pure dutiful service to the jewish people

as long as you hate the literal truth, your dignity and your ethnic uniqueness, there's really no wrong way to go

Reverse the question. Figure out what type of Christianity is good for God. I'll give you a hint: It's one that kept the commandments, the sacraments, and the tradition and did not remove books from the Bible. So right off the bat you can forget about protestant/baptist/Lutheran.

Since all religions can't be right, we must lead our lives with the grace of possibly having chosen right and the humility of possibly having chosen wrong.

Go church-shopping, visiting a different one each week. (That's totally acceptable and you can even tell them it's what you're doing). Go back to the one whose ceremonies and community you feel most comfortable in

None of them is good for you. But if you absolutely must choose one, then choose the most benevolent and least extreme version, which is probably Church of England / Anglican / Episcopalian.

The Christian belief is in ecumenism, the unity of all christians, we may have heterodox differences but we have more in common than what divides us, so next time you see memebers of 2 denominations arguing, it's usually seeking the splinter in their brother's eye as opposed to reflecting on their own life in Christ.
With that said, find whatever works best for you, just don't join any liberal churches since they disregard the fundamentals. My personal reccomendation is Roman Catholicism, as it pretty much has an answer on every theological issue spanning 2000 years it existed in, but any church you choose is good as long as you're being a genuine Christian.
