Can I live life without a car? I honestly dont mind relying on Uber I don't live in a big town so the most I will ever spent on one ride is 15 bucks but it's just the dating scene. Not having a car is a big deal breaker. Im 22 or should I yolo it and go for a car even though I'll probably be a terrible driver.

1. Get a licence.
2. Join a car sharing club (use Google to find one near you). It's like a car rental but it's parked in the street somewhere and you use an app to book it.

Alternatively, just move to a place that has good transit. Do you think people in NYC view car ownership as a deal breaker? Like that, but without NYC's cost of housing.

Don't worry too much about being a "shitty" driver. You get the hang of it. Feather foot the gas pedal, gradually accelerate and ease into braking, it becomes smoother over time. As long as you avoid collisions, use your mirrors, are aware of your surroundings and don't drive like a complete dipshit then you're golden. We all drive like crap when we first get our licenses. You just get better by being aware that you're responsible for getting from point a to point b safely and not putting other people's lives in danger

I literally taught myself to drive it's easy. Driving in traffic is all just common sense. I rode a motorcycle in traffic for 2 years until getting a car, which I also taught myself and I guess that's even harder with the shifting gears and all that so I adapted to driving and teaching myself even easier.

I live in a city with a decent public transit system. No date has ever complained about taking a bus or cab.
