First, don’t do that thing we you see one cute girl and she says hi to you and you imagine a complete and full life with her and create a personality for her that’s is perfect for you in your head like most anons do. That’s just gonna lead to disappointment the first time you find out she isn’t exactly like you pictured her in your head.
Second, run clubs can be clique-y so don’t get discouraged if you aren’t friends with everyone and don’t have a gf after 2 weeks. In a lot of cases people show up 1/2 times then disappear so regulars aren’t going to interact unless they know you are there to stay. Look for opportunities to volunteer or set up early as they will get more people comfortable with you and know you want to be there
Next, try to find a club that isn’t just running. Maybe they have after run drinks/meals/get togethers so there are opportunities to meet/talk outside of running.
Finally, don’t just zero in on one girl at the club you want to ask out (see first paragraph again). Try to make friends with multiple people. People get to know you as just a friendly guy at run club. Then as you get to know some of the women you can ask one out that you actually know something about.
