My sister randomly came home after living away for years and said she wanted to live here my dad wants to me kick me out of my room and have me sleep on the couch now and basically have no privacy (because he favors his daughters obviously I guess) I want to leave now what should I do?

Sell anything you don't need on ebay and marketplace for starter money to get your own place. Also it's still summer do you live somewhere or can go somewhere you can set up a tent outside? Get away.

To be honest whatever you find if you live in a big city ain’t gonna beat the couch on single job young person dollars. Just think of it as a transitional residence it’s not your permanent addy anymore.

If you hate it let it motivate you. Check apartments online, just to gain a sense of motivation. Nobody can change how fucked the market is though that is a problem I can’t tell you how to figure out.

Best bet is to probably find a roommate, and then prepare for the worst. But it's not viable to live on your own with solo income, so it's either the couch or a roommate.
