New career
I'm currently living through pic rel.
I'm a Systems Engineer. While my work is interesting, there's just too much.

Too many projects, meetings, tasks, things to learn or understand...
I'm good at it but I don't want to live for work anymore.

I'm currently in the office toilet trying not to have a panic attack after 6hrs of meetings. One more meeting left, and a bunch of other late tasks.

I'd want an easy job, preferably remote, where I can just do my tasks and not think too much.

Get in the back of the line bub. Everybody wants a comfy good pay remote job. Unless you know someone in a organization good luck getting through as a external applicant.

I was an NEET for an entire year. It made me suicidal and made my depression worse by 10 fold. True story.

Honestly, I'd take LESS pay. Even significantly less.
I've built a base of passive-ish income as a supplement but it's not nearly enough to live off... But if I had a low-hours, low-pay job I could probably live comfortably with it.
>why not part-time?
Indians and Philippinos took over most part-time jobs. Now it's all understaffed, underpaid and overworked.

Just phone it in. Smile and nod when asked any question.

Go work for the government if you want free lunch
I worked as a contractor for 9 months and spent most of time during the day lying in bed (worked from home)
There’s a reason why politicians of all different types want to get rid of these jobs. It one thing to have some cushy desk job, it’s another thing to have a cushy desk job you can never get fired from and you make it off the blood sweat and tears of honest blue collar workers.
You were too young to get a government job and work long enough to get a pension, and you were too young to invest and hold crypto. Get over it.

I'm actually a civil servant myself.
The jobs aren't -easy- perse, we're still ground down to a paste, they're just -easier- compared to when I worked Private (the pay potential is a lot lower here too).

I don't think anyone is getting "free lunch" in my government "lying in bed".
