I work a shit job bagging groceries. I have about $200 a month I can spend for whatever I want.

How can I use that money so that I can quit this shit job and be able to work for myself independently within the next six months?

If you saved 200 bucks every month, you would have 1200 at the end of six months. Do you have a car? Your odds of getting a get rich quick scheme that'll work off 4chan are slim to none

I would consider getting a certification or licence such as helpdesk or truck driving. Although you would still be working for someone you would have the possibility of work from home or working alone and with better pay than you're getting now.

if you research and time right yes, even as a casual trader. I invested 6k over the course of like 3-4 months into a particular stock I knew was gonna skyrocket in the spring. I turned 6k into 9k. And yes that's not life changing money, but I then pulled it into my Robinhood account and reinvested it at a lower price, and now I repeat the cycle.

For newbie investors I do like to point out unless you're getting AT LEAST a 30% return DO NOT pull it before the one year mark. You will get fucked on taxes and it won't be worth the time or effort.

You can get a chinese motorcycle for like $500 secondhand. I have a $600 motorcycle I've been riding for months now I don't even know what it is there's no branding on it but it's pretty fucking badass I can go like 80mph on it. Haven't had any need for a car yet although I haven't used it in winter yet. So with $1200 you can get some motorized transport at least.

I got rich off stocks. 200 a month is a lot of power, if you have 40 years to wait.
My advice to all the money Anons is try a sales job. No one wants to be a salesman, I didnt want to be one as an introvert with a econ degree but graduating during the great recession I had no other choice.
Sales is the one job always hiring, doesn't care about your background, and has insane earning potential. I know you think it isn't for you, but everyone should actually try and find out.
My loser NEET schizo cousin completely changed his life after getting a door to door security sales gig, makes 120k now.
I had the slackest beer sales job that I left to sell wood and make 300k. It was a unicorn job but unless you are in the industry you'll never find those. Yes I know, you aren't a salesman. Still worth a try.

Here is a simple proposition:

First off, expand your timetable. Give yourself 6 months to save up money for supplies. Secondly, get a business through Etsy in making small crafts, whether they be magick organic candles, soaps, etc. Then, use funds in the following 6 months for business cards and other promo materials. During the time leading up to the launch and past then, research methods of what to do for whatever products you make, along with promotional strategies. Also, network with venues and businesses in the area who can allow you to share your business cards or other promo materials and products. See if there are any venues with events that don't chatge vendor fees. Also, don't be afraid to shoot your shot at guerilla marketing in posting stickers with QR codes in places. Especially with the sort of example products that I mentioned, bring these up with women. Not only will they be your target demographic, but you may strike romantic interest from one you come across.

Its not a prospect of somehow rubbing your pennies together until something good happens. $200 a month isnt enough to make meaningful changes. You need to go back to school to advance your station, and you can take out loans for that.

Put all your money in bitcoin. Loan friends at ten percent simple interest. Buy more BTC. Get over twenty five percent for a one bedroom and rent it at the same or more than your mortgage. You live in the trailer park. Use the house as collateral to buy a workshop and hire some guys to work for a percentage of the profit. Put your chunk in large cap index funds. Don’t spend your money until it has done something for you.
Anonymous No.33516940 [Report]
With that little extra money a month I would start finding things to flip.
You can go to bin stores, goodwill outlets, small thrift stores, marketplace etc. buy low, sell at a profit.
It's not a huge money maker unless you have a good niche but multiplies your capital.
If you have a car, get a $500 e bike instead. No insurance and cheap. If you don't have a car, but an e bike anyway.
Find a better job. I didn't even know bagging groceries was a thing anymore. Many states also have free community college programs for in demand fields, some you even get paid a little (like $500 a semester). And honestly if you don't make that much you can get pell grants and community college will pay you every semester.

Saving 200 a month, nice. Sounds like a very stable job. That aint nothing, especially in these times.
Do you actually hate your job? Like you hate the idea of getting up tomorrow to go back there and every moment you are there is awful?
If not, then a stable job that you dont mind all that much isn't so bad.
If you have grander desires for like then think on what they might be.
Dont set deadlines for yourself, 6 months is based on nothing and when its up you'll say you've failed despite having a nonsense goal.
Try new things, new sports, reading, writing, anything you can express yourself with and then see if you can take that further.
No rush, no rules, keep a diary.

>Do you actually hate your job? Like you hate the idea of getting up tomorrow to go back there and every moment you are there is awful?
I hate the entire concept of having a job. Of having a company own your ass, telling you when and where you can and cannot take a shit. Of being punished and threatened to be fired because you got sick ine day and could not make it to work. Of having to request for any time off and have that decision be in the hands of someone that is not you and who will probably deny that request. Of having to be in a building with the same people, day in day out, doing the same shit and having to deal with their drama.

The list goes on, but you get the picture.

There are people out there who "work for themselves" in some type of manner. I either want to do that, or be obscenely rich.

But definitely not be some slave to an employer for the rest of my life like some normie.

Realistically, you can't, get a job that makes more money. Stacking shelves isn't gonna pay for college, business operational expenses, or any kind of independent lifestyle.

Pick a trade like plumbing and start apprenticing instead of stacking shelves. They'll pay a about the same as you make stacking shelves, which can pay for retraining stuff, and if you're an indecisive person but nevertheless stick with it and get certified in 2-3 years, you'll easily be making double or triple what you do now, and it can become very serious money if you decide to run your own plumbing company.

Strategic gambling e.g. on Polymarket. I made 10% profit betting that Trump would meet with Putin this month, after it had already been announced. I'm up about 8% on my position for Nvidia being the largest company by market cap at the end of the month (obviously no one will overtake them while AI is the Current Thing(tm).
