Chances it's Jesus is actually the highest among all of the world religions. I'll lay down a disclaimer: I'm a Christian. I am aware of my own biases, but I was atheist-occultist for most of my life before Christ. I know how to think like an atheist. And in my opinion, Christ has the largest odds going for Him.
Muhammad needed coercion and violence to achieve his influence, hiding his face and using armies to force his will.
Buddha required abandon, leaving his own wife and children and appealing to nobility and discipline and reputation to spread his influence.
The Hindus required rigorous caste systems, obscene amounts of tradition and a karmic pyramid scheme to sway people into its influence.
Then there's Christ. A random dude from the plains of Galilee, just a carpenter, a guy born among donkey and goat faeces. No army, no reputation, no earthly nobility. No money either. All he needed was His words, that's all. Didn't appeal to the local tradition at all, in fact He vehemently opposed it and was crucified for it. And yet 2,000 years later we stub our toe and scream "Jesus Christ!". Somehow, our entire calendar revolves around his life B.C (before Christ) and A.D. (After his death). Just one random carpenter from some backwater town of Bethlehem says some words, and two millennia later 2,400,000,000 people follow Him. Question is: 'Why?'. What about that man and his words was so special that it created and continued to create such a large shockwave that had not stopped ringing to this day? Go and find out bro
