I was just thinking the other day, I don't want to interact everday with someone unless I love and trust the other person and we share the same values. I assure you, there's not. The last girl that I just mentioned that divorced her husband and all that lives like 4,000 miles away. They met in a niche online community and communicated mostly on discord. My wife would show me their messages and how she spent months rebuffing this woman's advances and the woman just convinced herself that my wife was sending her secret messages based on like songs in her playlist and things of that nature. Additionally, I am not threatened by women so my wife knows she has my full blessing to fool around with girls or even have a girlfriend, idgaf. She has no reason to hide anything from me because nothing is at stake as far as my reaction, as long as it is only with women.

Furthermore, I have been there for many of these relationships to play out. Many years ago we moved into a house with another couple we were good friends with. The other girl ended up falling for us, ended up approaching us for some weird poly shit, and then everything fell to pieces and our friendship with the other couple has never recovered, which makes me inifitely sad. My wife is just drop-dead gorgeous and funy and funny and so fucking cool you wouldn't believe it, so lots of girls fall for her and I don't blame them. She doesn't want male friends because they also usually fall for one or both of us. We have had problems with male friends also trying to go after her, me, or both. It can be hard being beautiful and cool as fuck. But our love for eachother is stronger than steel so our bond is rock-solid despite everything that has happened.

I could guess that the preference isn't autistic, your drive to indulge it may or may not be but it really seems more like being quite a touchy-feely person. Perhaps you just like and were raised with physical shows of affection (or the other way around - severely denied such) so now you pursue it?

Remember that you can communicate about such but also that most people see kissing/cuddling as romantic or sexual gestures, so you expecting or offering such won't be a good expression of friendship. Think whether you're honest with yourself, maybe you are looking for something else. If so, don't push your romantic/sexual tendencies on those who are with you platonically unless they'll indicate wanting/prove interested in a different relationship.
