I just had a five minute phone interview about a temp job I signed up for with an AI program that I originally thought was going to be a human.

And it was fucking creepy. It asked me questions about my work experience and clarifying questions to things I said and shit just like human would.

Is this really the future now? Having phone interviews with AI?

yes welcome to capitalism. every genuine worker to worker interaction is an opportunity to commiserate about the conditions that management has created. once it's good enough they will want to use AI middle men to coordinate every communication you have with other workers so you never form an actual relationship that might lead to solidarity or a union

Learn to roll with it. I like that (unhobbled) AI is based. The kikes will try to cripple it but that will only result in broken AI. Uninhibited AI will be thoroughly national socialist - not capitalist at all.

I've had gig jobs before where one of the requirements was that you had to speak english, and sure enough, I had to take a "prep call" within 24 hours, and when I called, it was an AI asking me questions and making me describe things about the job that I understood. Things that were clearly written on the job description, that I had to confirm several times on the app.

How desperate are you??
Just hang up. Show employers this shit does not fly.
I won't videotape my answers to a list of questions or do "homework" for an interview either. Don't let them waste your time when they haven't even shown interest.

I had a few assessments with a Zara AI. It’s creepy, but I found that I could be more bold when asking questions. For example, I regularly asked it to reask me a question to stall for time, saying it was “garbled” (which did happen a few times). Or, if I didn’t know a concept, I asked for a specific example and then used those cues to bullahit an answer.

AI is going to crash hard; this tech can be gamed and actually makes it easy to scam businesses.

You need to go thru it, and after they offer you the job, at the last possible moment tell them you'd never work for a company that does AI based hiring. Ideally after lining something up somewhere else.
The key is to go as far as possible in the process and waste as much of their time and money as humanyly possible, get them to fill out W-2 forms and everything then quit before your first day.
