I'm 30 and have plans to off myself at 40. I also never went to college. Is there any reason I shouldn't take out student loans to have a fun and fulfilling four years at a university -- probably state -- knowing I won't have to pay it back or worry about even getting a job? The loans won't transfer to my parents or anything, right?

I'm assuming you're under-socialized based off of this post. There is nothing college kids hate more than an off-putting weirdo who cant hang. Plus you're 30 which will only make you stick out more. You'll only have a "fun and fulfilling four years" if you can fit in. Do with this as you will

Thanks for the reply. When I say fun, I don't just mean parties and lots of casual sex, I mean spending my day discussing literature and philosophy with other likeminded people and meeting smart, interesting students and academics.

And while I am an introvert, I'm not necessarily a weirdo, I just spent my 20s fucking off and addicted to drugs. I'm clean now but I've decided I want to end it all at 40, so deciding how I wanna spend the next 10 years. In hindsight, I should have gone to college in my 20s and then get addicted to drugs in my 30s, haha. Oh well.

not entirely sure if you are trolling. This doesnt really happen unless you are going to the top schools like Stanford

You'd probably find more interesting and intellectual people by taking up clown college (unironically).

Well, still more than people I'm meeting in public on a daily basis is all my point. There's professors and other students with similar interests, some deep into their field of study, etc.

I've no interest in being old, and at this point, even serious adult life.
