Just move! How do I get my life together?

I just moved to a new place. Rent is pretty cheap for LA, got a job, just turned 30, and have a pay check coming tomorrow. I’m an Uber driver. I’m terrible with money and pretty neurotic but I want to have a fresh start. What should I do?

Yes but I want to change. Starting now I will. Rent is cheap and my expenses are minimal. Too many drugs and fast food but that’s all behind me now

It's hard for me to relate since I've always been cheap and don't really want for much. I guess my advice would be to not buy shit unless you have to. Repair instead of replace things, learn to do work yourself instead of hiring someone. Cook instead of eat out, pirate instead of buying.
