i got missed FACETIME CALL and i called them back via phone, they said nothing then hung up. i call back again they ask who is this, i say who are you, you called me. they say "wrong number i mustve butt dialed you sorry!" I call again and demand they say who they are and they sadi PLEASE STOP CLALING ME. kept calling back and they blocked my #. and this was all from what sounded like a guy trying to do a girl voice. About 1/2 hr later I call back from a VOIP nubmer and what sounds like an old man answers with "hello", i try to talk and then it just disconnects.
I feel like someone is trying to ruin me and i'm freaking the fuck out, this totally ruined my night. I'm calling back on all these VOIP numbers but they wont pick up. Please someone help me understand wtf is going on. This is literally making me suicidal

This could be someone wondering if the number is associated with mine so they facetimed me (at night btw) to see if I'd answer and they can see my face and verify its me or verify through my voice and then they can go on with whatever scheme theyre doing or making a dox of me or something to try to destroy me

They called me first, they are the harasser. They tried to FACETIME ME at NIGHT, basically they tried to get a glimpse into my home and see my face at night. Why? To get me? Possibly until proven otherwise, perhaps even likely until proven otherwise. I'm not harassing them I'm trying to figure out the situation. I called them today again a couple more times from my alt VOIP number and they blocked it. I don't know what to do. I'm still very paranoid over this whole situation. I feel like it's someone plotting to ruin my life somehow

You will probably literally be sued if you keep this up, or at least visited by police. Using whatever numbers doesn't stop your ISP and the police from figuring out who it is that's harassing this guy. You should stop for your own good, people take this serious once it gets too crazy and you're pushing too crazy for a normal person to put up with. The police will be the ones to get you if you don't stop being a fucking schizo and harassing these people. You know this is literally a crime in almost every first world country and in the US every state has laws against what you're doing, you will actually spend real time in jail or prison plus get slammed with a lawsuit if you keep going.

I'm not here to debate with you how laws work, man. Police and courts won't care who you blame, they'll care you're the one continuing to do it, that is what si against the law. Randomly calling someone a single time is not against the law. Continually calling someone over and over against their will is a crime. They don't care who you claim the aggressor is, the most you could hope for is getting a lawsuit thrown out for insanity but you'd still spend time in jail.

What do you think the odds are it is someone out to get me, vs a confused person, vs a spam caller?
I just don't understand it bc here are the facts of the situation:
1. I found a website saying the phone nubmer belongs to a sportsball playing accounting student
2. They facetimed me at 10:30 at night
3. Same area code as mine
4. I called back and they asked "Who are you? "i said you called me, who is this, they said "oh sorry, mustve butt dialed you, wrong number!"
(this doesnt make sense - did they call the wrong number or did they buttdial me?
5. I call back and they said "please stop calling this number! it was an accident!" i say I dont believe you, tell me who you are. They say "OK then" and hang up. they block my number. BTW these first two itneractions sounded like a man putting on a girl voice. very strange.
6. I call back later w VOIP and what sounds like an old man picks up and says "hello" before hanging up
7. my VOIP number gets blocked
