I come from an extremely conservative thirdie family. Expectation even for men is that your parents would find someone for you as long as you have a job

I got a great job right after uni and held up my side of bargain. The parents didnt want me to get married and never searched for me because they wanted my older brother to get married first. For my mom specifically she was under the impression have a younger brother ( me ) would look bad to the family because future prospects for my older brother would see him with suspcian ( as to why he didnt get married before me ). My older brother also didnt get a job until after like 3 years and that too he dropped and doesnt work now. I need to find a wife myself now but there arent many avenues here to begin with. Im feeling extremely bitter and sad about the situation I am in. I wish life turned out to be different for me

I think you are right to find your own wife. What ways have you tried to find a woman? Also, have you tried talking to your parents about this?

i tried hinge and other apps but the woman there dont really like someone with my standing and i dont really blame them. i come from a poor family and the woman there come from a upper middle class locations in my home town. Their tone changes when they find out where i live. i got good pics and give the aura that i am sophisticated but the home location gives it away. The woman in the community i come from actually move into the husbands/in laws house so this part is very important and may actually seem very retarded for a western reader.

I did but they are adamant about getting my brother married first for some reason. The whole waiting for my turn in order doesnt make sense to me.

I am old now and running out of options unfortunately. I am trying to find ways to cope and trying to distract myself but reading books but the burden is getting too much for me to bear

How can you be too old to marry when you're a man?
I would advice you to use this time to build a nest egg for yourself. Keep saving so that in a year you can push to get married before your brother. You have the time.

Yeah dude, it's very complicated, you should be already married and have kids by now. Don't wait your family AT ALL. Don't you go to mosques? Maybe you can find a wife there, i think it's the easiest way.
