All forms of birth control have side effects - condoms, for example, reduce male sensitivity. In many cases the side effects are minor enough that using it is a good trade off. In some cases the side effects may be actively beneficial: one of my exes, for example, had a hormonal IUD, and it had the effect of shutting down her periods completely, which she loved; another was on the combination pill for a bit, and found it boosted her sex drive, improved her mood, and made her periods lighter and less painful. My current partner has a copper IUD and finds the side effects negligible.

But of course sometimes the side effects are bad. The progestogen-only pill, for example, can cause low mood and loss of sex drive. Each woman needs to experiment with a few methods and determine the pros and cons for herself.

Let's give women hormones that trick their bodies into entering menopause at 18.
What could go wrong?

Er, that is not remotely how hormonal birth control works, anon. They simply keep a woman in one phase of her menstrual cycle in between periods.

usually you get at least 1 side effect, sometimes several. losing your libido almost entirely is a big thing, but it has good side effects too (like going from a pizza face to 0 acne because turns out it was hormonal adult acne).

It's weird how men are now apparently not even allowed an opinion on the appearance of their significant other.

ovulation is an event that also releases and regulates hormones to help maintain homeostasis for women. i don't want to outlaw birth control or anything but it will always be at the expense of a woman's health

Copper IUD I think is the gold standard. I had two in my adult life and I love it. Never having kids though so if you're interested in that they say it can lower fertility

It also cumulatively raises the risk of breast cancer.

Perimenopause is happening to women who've barely turned 30-35 years old, when that should be happening 10 years down the road.

It's sad to see people treat the human race it's it's just another basic animal species. We are so much more than that. But maybe not all of us.

Yeah basically. But you don't have to be this way. The beautiful thing about the human race is we can grow and learn. Or you can see us as a factory line. Your choice.

Mini pill
>made me suicidal, bleed randomly, wild mood swings
Combo pill
>nerfed my sex drive, made me obese, gave me back acne
Plan B
>made me INSANE, caused some of my fucking hair to fall out
Never taking any sort of birth control again. Condoms only

Can't be much of anything without more humans being born to keep things going. People work, retire and then die and the work those people did must be continued by the next generation, who will then work, retire, and die. It's a cycle. There's no escaping it; not in our lifetime anyway.

Again yes this is a very telling mindset of forced breeders. It's never about the arts or the moments in between. It's about hurrying onto the next step. The next checkpoint. Most people do end up having children I'm not saying my views are the norm, but if more people really stopped and think about what they wanted or searched for discovery less unwanted children would be born.

And you can't think of anything other than how you feel right now and are incapable of thinking ahead. Also, unwanted children are almost always born out of people living in the moment and fucking without thinking ahead. There's no forced breeding going on here you schizo.
