Shaking.
Hey/adv/, I'm 28 years old and have issues with parts of my body shaking. I started to notice at around 18 years old, ive been to 4 doctors for this and all they do is give me medication that doesn't actually solve the problem. The shaking usually happens when I'm around large amounts of people or when I'm heading into work, walking down the stairs of my apartment, or at a red light. Some of the shaking I'm experiencing happens to my head, hands, and knees. I've been taking certain supplements and vitamins that aleast tone down the symptoms a bit(depending in the day), but the cost is adding up. Is or has anybody dealt with this? How did you fix the issue and/or cope with it? Anything helps.

Given that you say it's around people, work, stairs, or red lights, do you think it could be anxiety induced? Otherwise, I can only think it would be some kind of neurological problem. What meds are they even giving you?

get comfortable in your own body
I think it's called proprioception
there are lots of ways to achieve this
dancing, rock climbing, gymnastics, calisthenics, etc

It's strange, i think it's anxiety, but I have no problem looking into peoples eyes and having deep discussions with them, so it's not like I'm anxious socially, but say I'm at a self check out, I profusely sweat and my fine motor functions go down the shitter, I can't really remember all of the names of the meds but I know one was called apripizol or something like that.

Would being made fun of for a big chunk on my childhood have something to do with it? I'm definitely wanting to do something along the activities you mentioned, maybe that will help, thank you.

Hmmm, I Googled it and it's alot like what I'm dealing with, but the main difference is, when I'm home with my wife and kid, I don't have any issues, but when I go out it happens times 10, even if my wife is right next to me or if I'm heading out to work.

Esential tremor, sometimes called postural tremor, is really doctorspeak for "Some people shake." It has nothing to do with Parkinsons or any other afflictions and is most likkely a very minor birth defect. It is generally worse in public, probably because self-consciousness makes you tense up, and it generally increases with age. But except for the embarrassment and the occasional inconvenience (Don't drink from over-full glasses or cups) it is harmless.

You're probably right, I really appreciate you and everybody for taking your time to help a guy out, I feel like I should probably find a way within myself to stop caring what others think about me.
