I'm 21yo and have been unemployed and uneducated ever since finishing highschool.
Both my parents work in medicine and they think I'm studying to become a PA but I have nothing to show for it. Starting community college now and I'm choking up. I never studied before and I'm feeling nervous about taking 16 credits. Trying to get a bachelors in three years to make up for wasting the first three years in adulthood. I wish I realized I wanted to be a doctor when I was 18, but now I feel embarrassed to even mention it, I'm at a highschool level in academics.

A 40 year old man never wishes he did not have a degree late so that he can pay his loving child's ailmony and for his family. The dumb motherfuckers laughing at you for getting a degree is worth it, because when they don't get it and you got it later 10 years later, they're gonna be in a different mood when they're in a trailer home and you got your degree.
