My neighbor has a daughter and she is like 15, but she reminds me of my ex girlfriend, who was 35. They look like twins, honestly. The resemblance is uncanny.

I don't know how to process this. It makes me super uncomfortable everytime I see them, the girl and her mother. Every time I do the friendly neighbor thing and they invite me over, I just feel incredibly horrible having to look at them.

I'm considering moving to a new place to get away from them. I cannot live next to some 15 year old kid that reminds me of my ex girlfriend.

Do you think this is a good idea? Just leave?

here's how you do it
start complimenting her (nothing gross, just mention her outfit or something).
keep spending time with the two of them.
get her number for a practical reason (you gave her the key and need to get it back at a specific time... whatever, use your imagination)
start sending random goodhearted texts and try to get a conversation going when the frequency seems adequate.
dig into her psyche and get to know her. be there for her whenever she has trouble with her friends/parents/bf/whatever, and start complimenting her physique and personality.
don't forget to tell her she's really mature for her age and people around her don't seem to understand this (except you of course)
start isolating her by insisting on every little mistake her parents/entourage do as proofs they don't understand her (like you do)
