I've had at least 4 suicide attempts, it's a miracle I'm still alive. Right before suicide, your so depressed it numbs your body idk how but that's how I felt. Didn't feel the pain as "excruciating" as you'd expect.

My neighbor hung himself on his porch. Hanging yourself is probably the easiest overall route.

Decapitation by train also would probably also be painless and most likely nearly instant

Don't listen to these people op.. Suicide is Not the answer. Nor is it painless. It just transfers the pain to your loved ones who care about you. And trust me there are people out there who care about you even if you think they don't.. I recommend speaking to a doctor or a therapist or calling a hotline based on where you live.. As shit seems bad now and unless your dying of some terminal reason death is never the answer.. well unless your a pedo or some shit like that then death is the answer... But since this is likely not the case death is not the answer. So please reach out for help to some one who can talk to you properly and listen and give the help you need please.. as death only passes the pain on to others and those you pass it on too may not be able to carry that burden like you can.. So please seek help..

Na I think decap would be instant. You know how people will pass out due blood pressure loss. Well if you get your head severed off from a train that pressure almost instantly goes to zero. Sure you might be alive for 30 seconds but you would most likely be unconscious.

That would likely just be a death by drowning in the middle of the night. When people's bodies shut down their drown in their own fluids, that's what causes the death rattle.
Also this is mostly a fantasy, death for old people is usually a pretty haggard affair.

have you considered what will happen after death ... sure each has his own opinion on this matter but .. what if whene you die the instant you feel the pain you will feel it forever .. what if consciousness actually never stop but somehow freeze and you will be stuck in pain forever

Carbon Monoxide poisoning. You literally just fall asleep and never wake up. It's one of the reasons that you don't have open fires indoors.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Carbon monoxide poisoning is simply one more way to deprive the body and brain of oxygen: carbon monoxide binds permanently to the haemoglobin in your blood so that the blood can no longer carry oxygen around the body.

My sister's ex-boyfriend had non-fatal carbon monoxide poisoning for a while thanks to a malfunctioning gas heater, and it made him very sick indeed - he felt like he had flu for weeks. (Which unfortunately led to him staying in with the heater on - he was lucky it was spotted!) And asphyxiation with (say) Nitrogen is something that is banned in many countries as a method of slaughtering animals, because it causes too much suffering. Quite what will be going through your mind while your brain is *slowly* dying from insufficient oxygen over the course of hours or more is anyone's guess, but there's no reason to assume it's pleasant.

Dignitas starts by giving you an antiemetic drug to make sure you don't vomit, then (about half an hour later) they give you 15 grams of powdered pentobarbital dissolved in a glass of water. This causes unconsciousness in 3-5 minutes and you'll stop breathing after 30-40. I have to assume they've done some research as to what the most humane and reliable method is.
