Any smart anons that have been to college that can give me advice? I've been in college for 2 years now. Due to some circumstances (like teacher strikes and courses being unavailable) I had to only do 50% course loads so I've only done my 1st year. This semester will be my first time doing a full course load (5 courses).

My grades were pretty good, but I feel like it was because my course load was so light. Now that I'll be doing double the work, I'm feeling a little bit scared to be honest.

Any advice for a second years on doing well now that I'm switching to a significantly heavier course load? I'm in comp sci btw.

Organizing your workload is everything. At the beginning of the semester/quarter/whatever they will give you a syllabus for each class with all the assignments and due dates. Write don what you need to do and figure out approximately how long it will take you. From week 1, you should have a cale dat with each due date and a marked date to start working on that assignment and a marked date to be 50% done with an assignment.
Also, talk to the professors. If you don't understand something, email them or go to their office hours. Not enough peopke take advantage of that stuff
