>Damn, I think I'm hooked on kratom. Looks like the three days of hellish detox are back for me again. Not sure why I did this twice.
Anons, I got a choice of a path to getting a PhD for clinical psych, or investing in my IT skills. Which is a better move? I like psy, but IT is faster and brings in the dough. My current debt is 40k after my BS

I don't believe in soft sciences, so I would do IT.

Makes sense, cheaper and easier to get into as well. I love psyc and want to do clinical work like therapy, but I don't want to be in more crippling debt than I already am.
Would I be a lamer for getting into a 7 year program at 35? Close to a decade from now

I don't think you would want to. Your energy diminishes as you get older.

True, but I would like to do assessments and some therapy as I age out of active work later in life, since I got the brain and passion for it. I would not want to be a network engineer or any other IT specialist till the day I die. That's the only problem with IT for me, the passion. Maybe I need a life coach anon.
