We have a class together and we were both waiting for the teacher, just the two of us. I just kept staring at the floor like an autist, and then, out of nowhere, she started talking to me "you're in this other class, right? I saw you there the other day" and then and talked about the classes for a few minutes before the teacher arrived. What can I expect from this? Do you guys think I have a chance? I still think she's out of my league, she was probably just being polite, right?

I assume she wanted to get rid of the awkwardness and didn't want to sit in silence for however long. My classmate did the same thing to me once but she wasn't interested in me. Neither was I so I didn't get delusional over it. When you're starved for attention, you start taking every innocuous action as a potential hint. Unless she's shy, a girl will make it obvious she likes you. By your story, she was just making conversation to pass the time more pleasantly.
