Tldr; my boyfriend's ex girlfriend is much hotter than me and I'm losing it. What do?

Fem here. I started dating this guy (call him Adam) about five months ago. He's pretty much perfect and things are going great. He is fun to talk to, is great in bed, and every time we go out it's like a special occasion. I'm just completely on cloud nine. I couldn't be luckier.

I should say that I never asked about his past relationships, nor he mine. All he said when we first met was that his last one "ended badly." I haven't dated much, honestly.

A few weeks ago he invited me to a family party. Adam's whole family is friendly, and while there I got talking with one of his cousins. I asked her for help with names because his family is huge. She pulls up a group photo from last year and starts naming all the relatives. In the photo, Adam is next to a woman.

I had heard his friends say that name but never saw a photo of her.

I was completely taken aback. It's like this photo is a bunch of lumberjacks and then there's this Victoria's Secret supermodel just hanging out in the middle.

I asked if she had other photos of her. She said, "Oh we're friends on Facebook." So she showed me Eve's profile.

I got really silent. At this point his cousin could pick up on my change in mood and said, "Well, uh, I like you much better!" She said they dated maybe two years. She didn't know why they broke up, just that it was kind of sudden.

I don't know how to talk about this with Adam but it's driving me crazy. What do I do?

I spoke with a friend. Her opinion essentially is that this is in my head and Eve probably isn't actually that good looking in real life, she just photographs well. I don't usually wear makeup and she is wearing makeup in every photo. So who knows, maybe it's an illusion.
