I'm beginning to notice the corners of my hairline thinning and I'd like to not get bald (21M). What are some tips for maintaining it (I don't even need to regrow atm) and what shampoo should I use? I feel that shampoo might be making it worse idk. I have very straight Slavic hair that gets greasy if I don't wash it daily.

Go see your dermatologist and ask about getting on Minoxidil and Finasteride. The meds themselves are dirt cheap—it’s usually the co-pay that can get pricey depending on where you live.

I started thinning earlier this year but managed to jump on it at the right time.

Loss of libido is a side effect my doctor warned me about, and she told me to let her know if it happened—but so far, I’m doing just fine.

No problem getting laid.

I also have a friend who’s on both and still got his wife pregnant. So it’s not a death knell, just something you need to keep an eye on.
