I remember about 10 years ago running into a similar situation as you, where I would get fewer matches when I said I was 5'10, but my odds improved when I claimed to be 6'1.

I ended up wearing lifts on dates and just focused on being an engaging person. After a while, whatever my profile said would be forgotten.

But honestly, that’s a lot of work that I wouldn't put myself through. Just stop lying and stick to real-life connections if you’re self-conscious about it.
