4chan is a place for usually quite coddled lonely non aligned men and boys. They are often NEETs and INCELs and they can't figure out why, because the first attempt of literally changing anything did not directly lead to a big tiddy girlfriend, so *that's* gotta be bad advice, so they go back to browsing memes and porn.
And then one day one of them has an idea "What if it's not our fault? What if it's actually a big conspiracy against YOU personally and you were right all along?" A tempting train of thought, because that lifts all responsibility for the life you're living off your shoulders.
And that's what's happening; Losers don't want to confront the possibility that their sorry life might be due to their own bad choices, so they gather arguments why it's totally an outside thing they could have never done anything about.
And they find each others support in ensuring each other that they certainly never did anything wrong and that them being a biological and social dead end was never something they could have done anything about.
There's a certain comfort in feeling like it's out of your hands, and in order to keep that feeling going, people have to keep believing that there's nothing they could have done.
TLDR; "Jesus take the wheel", but without Jesus
