Birth Control and Anxiety ruined my girlfriend.
My girlfriend started taking hormonal birth control against my explicit recommendation instead of opting to use a non hormonal method of birth control as I had advised her to do. Since she has started using hormonal birth control, our relationship has gone to shit.

Her anxiety has gotten so much worse that she has a minor episode almost every day, her depression symptoms (which she did a very good job of managing in all honesty) became significantly worse. The birth control itself effectively nuked her libido and desire to experiment sexually, and she now has to take 2 other medications to counteract the fact that the birth control made her anxiety and depression significantly worse. Her personality has become so horrid over the last few months that I genuinely do not enjoy spending time with her.

She luckily has not had any major physical side effects from the birth control (if anything it has made her lose weight which is sort of nice as she can almost pull off the sexy twig look. yes, I want her to be at a healthy weight while also being skinny)

I know that its the birth controls fault and not her, but I am at the point where I dont know how much more I can take. I desperately want her to get the implant removed, but she is refusing to do so until she hits the one year mark, despite the fact that she herself admits that the complications are horrible. I dont know if I can survive another 7 months of this while keeping our relationship intact.

Hormonal birth control is ass and should only be used in the short term until a form of non hormonal birth control can be acquired in my opinion (yes, they exist and work).

A copper IUD is leagues better than anything else imo.

>all men are one person

Anyway, yeah you might need to break it off. 7 months of absolute aids sounds miserable. I'm sure you can leave your door open with a "We can try again once your stop the hormones" but nothing it worth feeling mentally trapped in your own house over.

I'm going to have a very very long talk with her, probably tomorrow, so we'll see what happens. I gotta make sure she's in the right headspace though otherwise nothing good will happen.

I never got hormonal birth control
>she won't get pregnant
>but also her sex drive will be kill
I mean what's the point. Just stick to condoms.

she wanted hormonal birth control. I said that I was fine with condoms until she could get a copper IUD, but she insisted on getting a hormonal implant.

>My girlfriend started taking hormonal birth control against my explicit recommendation
Maybe that is the core problem? Sure the hormones fuck with her brain, but maybe you both started it all off the wrong foot?

Also why does that bitch not listen to you. Sounds like a skill issue

Put yourself first. But since it seems you care about her, you need to break it down for her. Something like:
>Hey, we need to talk. I know we've been going through a lot lately and I'm sure we both know it's the fault of the hormonal birth control you're on. I love you, but I'm not equipped to handle the side effects of the birth control. It's turned something (our relationship) that was once easy and effortless into an emotional and mental drain. I cannot tell you what to do because I respect you and we're adults. However, I cannot continue on this path. Something needs to change in order to make our relationship healthy again, or else the time is just ticking before it dies anyway. Are you willing to make changes for our sake?

So it's not really an ultimatum or anything forceful. It's just a statement of facts. The key is: you gotta stick to your guns. If she's not willing to change, you gotta get the fuck out. If she is, you can assess what she thinks should change. If acceptable (like getting completely the fuck off hormonal BC and using other methods) then you're all good. If not, then loop back to the beginning: get the fuck out.
>I understand. Again this is completely your choice. However, that isn't going to work for me. I want to stay and I love you. And I admit you're trying. But this is still putting us on a path where we'll be ripped apart anyway and It's better that we rip the band aid off now before things get worse.

Gotta hit her with those emotions, anon. That's her language. At no point are you forcing anything. You're just setting healthy boundaries of what you will and will not accept. You'll either come out stronger together, or YOU"LL come out stronger alone.

just so you know, these medications have such severe side-effects that she may completely become a different person (and she very well may be as it affects her mood, thinking, her very physiological essence). When my ex girlfriend changed medication due to her doctor recommending it because it had less side effects/toxicity- she completely changed. It was a heart breaking new reality and I did not realize it until it was too late. She transformed into this hateful monster of a woman who whined and complained about anything, even about me eventually. It's serious stuff and people should take note of it today.

I feel you bro.
Just started seeing this girl, and yesterday was only the second time we've had sex. First time was bad because of her vaginismus, yesterday was a bit better. She's on the pill and she reported not being as horny. She would also masturbate more prior to taking the pill. She also revealed taking medication for some mental issue, "feeling sad". I asked if it was antidepressants, but she said no.
I don't think I'm sticking around for this. I don't want to hurt her further. Just like you, I immediately told her to get off the jew pill.

It is one of those things that is what it is, sadly, anon. I had a similar problem, but it was extreme weight gain, like to the point that she ballooned up. Didn't find her attractive at all, in addition to already not feeling her personality.

I would say the best bet is going to be this anons advice >>33622202 just try your best to get her off while being kind and shit. If she doesn't change or try to at least put a plan in place, (such as getting to non-hormonal birth control), then it will honestly only get worse. Personality change will get worse, weight gain may be a factor, health concerns. On top of that, the cocktail of pills she is taking to manage symptoms is only adding to all that shit.

Good luck anon wise you the best

Wow it's almost as if the Jews circumcised you and split your mind as a baby and raped their way into your girlfriend's pussy before you could even leak precum.
It's over.

If you want sex with a person you're not married to and aren't willing to have children with you should accept the consequences. Quit whining, accept that she chose the contraceptive that felt safer for her, or just break up leave her be.
