Why doesn't anybody hire me?
I'm applying to jobs online but nobody is calling me back. I think it's because the last job I had lasted a week and so they think I'm a bad worker. But it was only for a week because the employer decide it best to be for that period and I was okay with it because I worked every day of that week and I was happy to have a pause. The first three shifts were more than 9 hours long btw.
I also admit I'm mostly applying to part time jobs.

Most of those online job offers are fake, and they never call anyone.

Nah, I use mostly Indeed and I know they're real. Some even called me in the past.

Just apply to more, it is pretty much like this for everyone. You apply and apply some more and get a job after like 200 applications

don't put that week-long job on your resume at all
also make up any shortcomings in volume

You work with time machines or what?

Not sure where you're located but this is common for myself, looking at entry level and / or dead-end shit. Eventually I find something, but it can take weeks. Keep it up, and like anon above said, just fabricate your resume. It's shitty, but this is the kind of world we live in. Lies are encouraged.

So should I delete the one week long employment from my CV?

Or you can keep it but take out the timeframe. The job was completed on schedule

The current job market is ass at every level of employment. Companies get tax cuts for being understaffed and having listings up, so that's being abused. Companies are collecting user data from applicant resumes and selling them to ai tech companies to compile data sets, so that's being abused.
Companies are maximizing profits by overworking employees and cutting workforces to the bare minimum, and they keep listings open to show it to their staff and say "see guys you're not being taken advantage of we're really trying to hire new people," so that's being abused.
The few listings that are left receive quite literally thousands of applications per position.
The head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the US was fired a few weeks ago for telling the President that the job market is worse than we ever thought possible.
The current job market is ass.

They will probably think it's weird or I'm untrustworthy.

Try applying again, leaving that one-week job off your resume

Getting a job is hard, in particular that (basically) first job is hard.
Keep trying and see what other options are there. Is the field you're trying to get into badly saturated? Are you qualified? Did someone double check your application?

It's not my first job, which makes it weird that nobody is hiring me. Should be much easier now than previously.

Ugh, details, we need details.
Does your previous employment line up with what you're applying for now? How long was that employment? How big is the gap between the two? Is the field badly saturated? Are you qualified to do the job? Did someone doublecheck your application?

I quit going to work after I realized 90% of the time I'm just wasting my time doing pointless shit nobody cares about and not getting ahead in life.
I worked there a lot over the past 12 years and the wagie community was a major factor in my decision to not work anymore. NEETs did it to an extent as well but WAGIES are far worse.
Someone could give a long drawn out and factually accurate explanation of what would have to happen for me to even be able to one day buy a home and have a family and why working was fraudulent. The post would get a dozen responses of
>WHY SHOULD YOU EAT?
>when you know you know
>economic collapse is coming
>stack metals the end is nigh
>keep waging faggot
>100% eoy silver will reach 5k an ounce
Or some equally long schizo post explaining numerology, using bible scripture and random posts here explaining how by the end of the year billions will be unemployed because of the AI.
Here we are.
After seeing the nothingburger today I came here just to watch the seething and suicide letters. It’s beyond EOY, the jobs didn't disappear, the banks didn't collapse (unfortunately), no more use cases and all the dirty laundry is out in the air now.
It’s not going to be Millennial's Economic Paradise, it will not be the Roaring 20's all over again. The world will not be descending into hyper deflation and prosperity (as was obsessed over for months/years) it will be going on as usual with no major gains or rewards.
I will enjoy watching wagies burn every step along the way.
Why?
Because those fucking idiots deserve it all.

Even being in a "professional" position, including being an employer, it doesn't mean they won't be a biased judgmental douche. If they're not the problem, it's a you problem.
I've been hired easily despite being shitty at talking to people. All it took was just saying how I learn and adapt fast, and make them laugh during the interview. Then after starting the job, I just put effort into keeping my word. Taking what I learn from and about the job, simulating it in my mind like it's a game, then breaking into shape with it becoming second nature. Just do the thing simply because you can. Or because fuck it. Money talks, and bills + rent bitch like rabbid dogs. Feed the dogs so they don't eat you and live another day.
