I am moderately autistic and have relatively low empathy, even if I were to have children - I wouldn't know how to raise them outside of being a stern authoritarian father. And my own father was somewhat like this too.

Empathy will come. I was a Narcissist 2 years ago. Had no such thing as empathy. Manipulated a girl into become obsessed with me while all I had to say was - "I like you". I used to laugh at joy when my mother cried because of me.
But, yesterday I cried when I saw a the donation page of a child with EB Blister skin disease.
Empathy will come.
How? I don't know. Be a good boy. Read your Bible. Eat your Veggies.
