and another thing. TRAIN YOURSELF to not just default to the easiest thing, which is to expect things to be done for you or outsource your problem to other people. You won't be able to "do it all" right away, but that's not the point and you shouldn't overwhelm yourself with that. "doing it all" isn't actionable and no person who was capable of anything did so by just trying to "do it all", and that "do it all" thing I speak of is most likely what you, OP, are calling "the idea of it".
Don't worry yourself too much about it, just have the goal, and persue it.
Just to give a personal example, I've for a long time wanted to emulate games, and didn't do it because I had some worry that it was too complicated even before I even bothered to try it. I asked how, but didn't bother to do it, didn't bother to go out of my way and into the unfamiliar to be able to do it, and got it going in a day. Maybe that's not the best example, but it is one. If along the way you REALLY encounter roadblocks, that's when it's best to ask for help about it, and to seek it out, and when you do, you will have something more fleshed out for other people to work with, but if you ask about certain things, let's say computer related stuff, which have a lot to them, but you are literally at square 0, people may find it difficult to work with you on it, and you will find it confusing and overwhelming to work on it. That is where once again, the importance of a desire or intent comes in, that way, you have an idea of what you'd like to persue.
You can also clarify your own approach and mindset, and someone might have the means to help you see your own issue, but that involves a little self knowledge. Perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself (or yourself) with that though.
