Stomach trouble?
What the fuck is going on with my stomach? When I have to go to work in the morning, I am usually very gassy and its uncomfortable and smells awful. Then I get to work have a bowel movement maybe 2 hours after arriving. The quality of bowel movement is usually awful. Very mushy consistency and again, smells terrible and is generally uncomfortable to pass. Not hard to pass just uncomfortable. I never have full on liquid stool though. Just usually mushy and in many pieces. Then, I could be on vacation and have perfect torpedo shits every day that I am on vacation while eating pretty similarly. What the fuck is wrong with my stomach? I am not sure what I am eating too much of or maybe not enough of? I hear that eating fiber could help but I thought fiber was for if you are constipated? I haven't been constipated in like 10+ years or more.

Can fiber help with mushy stool also though What foods could I eat that will definitely harden your stool?

If you drink coffee , change it for green tea. Trust me , when i was drinking coffee I always had problems with my stomach 30min to 1h afterwards, after changing to green tea, ive never had a problem anymore.

I won't read digestive problems threads because I strongly suspect they're made up.

Could possibly be lactose intolerance - are you having milk or cream in coffee on days you work, but skip that when on vacation?

Your issue seems imminently solvable if you just log what you eat and perform a series of small, 3 or 4 day long "exclusion" diets where you just don't eat certain foods and write down how you feel.

A severe amount of stress and anxiety can mess up your digestive system.
But I would rule out foods. Start writing down what you eat and by process of elimination figure out what is causing it.

I will try this. Only problem is that I don't know how to substitute foods. I have to think. I thought I was gluten allergic somehow but I have eaten wheat bread and not felt sick. I have also eaten cheese and milk and not felt sick but I hear lactose intolerance is a spectrum of sorts.
