Wondering if I should go blue collar

I've been wondering if I should go for a welding or HVAC apprenticeship but have been seeing people saying it is becoming the "learn to code" bubble. Should I say fuck it and go for it or look elsewhere?

You should aim as high as possible, you can always correct lower.
Blue collar aint particularly high. There's engineering that's close to blue collar work, that you might want to consider.
