How to proceed? I mean I don't know how to initiate anything intimate. I was in a 2 years long relationship and it was initiated by the ex, but i have no problem ones it's obviously established what we do. So what to do?

Just go slow bro. There's no rush. You can simply tell her sometime, "I like being around you, you make me fell good". See what she says. Based on her reply to that innocent statement you can just say, "would you like to date one another?" Or else you'll stay in the friendzone. Either way you get your friend still. But if she says she's not interested in dating as boyfriend/girlfriend say OK, I understand, lets maintain our friendship then. But if she is interested in dating, then you should lean in for a hug and then a nice kiss, but hold her head in your hand when you kiss her, like cradle her neck, fingers parting her hair.
