Help with room layout?

My dog passed, my best friend, and I haven't been able to use the room we spent countless hours in. My bed is currently flush against the wall with the window- her spot was at the foot of my bed so she could lay and sniff out the window. It feels very painful and rough removing her spot, but I think sleeping with the same layout but without her would be worse. The process has been slow and painful.
I'd appreciate any input as to a new layout.

I used ' Planmyroom.com '

Just to give a visual. The large habitat in the right corner is for a reptile. The desk is 2000s ish with a large hutch/shelf backing. The shelf is overflowing with plush, so I kinda want it tucked a way a bit.

I'm sorry, that happened to me this year also. Probably should get new dogs rather than look for random coping solutions but it's tough to move on I haven't.

Transforming my living space has been really helpful for me with the loss of my pet. Very therapeutic making furniture. If you're at the point of your life where you can change apartments or whatever you're living situation is then I suggest doing that.

It's a long/messy story, but I am trying hard to adopt again. A stipulation given, in order to do so, was that the room has to be deep cleaned. Rug shampoo, repainted, all that.
