I wouldn't be this mad if it wasn't the third time that she has either destroyed/damaged or threw out something that had value to me because she thinks she's right.
I damaged her laptop once and that was after she broke my monitor and damaged my keyboard, mouse, and pc case because she thought I deleted her ebook for a class she was taking at the time.
She thinks she's trying to push me in the right direction, but she does it in such a stupid fucking way that\ it made me lose any and all respect for her.
I honestly don't know what to do at this point because I'm broke as shit, so I would be homeless if I moved out. I seriously don't understand how someone could believe that magic, voodoo or any other spiritual nonsense is real in a rich nation in the 21st century.

Forgive her. It's the best you can do. Parents can become retarded like children the older they grow, and you find yourself to be the caretaker and the one who has to tell them what to do or what to avoid.
Please make things right with her while she is still around. The worst thing you can do yourself is getting pissed at close relative and something happens to them (god forbid) and you find yourself knowing the last memory they had was them being hurt by your words.
Just don't trust her with your belongings anymore, keep them hidden and out of her reach.

She's 56. She's not that senile. I don't think I can forgive someone who has a had a history of accusing me of doing something I never did and never once apologizing when she realizes that she was wrong. This has been going on since I was 13.
I think all the trauma in her life has made her too paranoid. The rough times we're currently in only made things worse. This is second time that she has become even more religious because of a bad situation, and she became more religious in an annoying way.

This experience has taught me to stay away from any woman who considers herself religious or spiritual. Especially if they come from a shithole country.

Another extremely annoying thing about this situation is that she has had multiple priest visit out home to bless it over the years and not a single one of them felt an evil presence. She had a priest come to our home to bless it in August and he said nothing about demons.
One would think that a literal expert who has devoted his life to God would've picked up on that shit immediately if there was a demonic presence.
I've been playing games my whole fucking life for several hours a day whenever I had free time, and it wasn't a problem when things were going good for us.
I honestly hope I don't become a fucking nutcase when I'm her age.

The question is that you care about her enough to be dealing with her bullshit or not.
If not, just fuck 'em parents and cut your ties for good.
If yes, speaking with her and understanding her mentality and giving an ultimatum, if she does something similar again, then you will have to cut her from your life, since independently if you care about her, you can't be living with someone like that

I also just realized that I'm continuing a cycle. She cut off her family because of how they treated her despite how much work she did for them. I understand that she wants me to go to school, become more social, find a girlfriend, graduate, get a good job, etc. But when her idea of pushing me towards that is by destroying my things or throwing them out without my permission, or trying to get me to enter some random program at a university in a different province, making me stay in that province with her for several days and nights and increasing the amount of time I spend over there every week because it's her way of forcing me to get out of my room, and to get me to pretend to be a homeless student who needs housing because she wants me to go back to school, I start to grow tired of her garbage ideas.
I understand that getting an education is important. I understand that we're in a pretty shitty situation, but I'm not going to screw myself by picking out a random shit degree so I can pretend to be a homeless student living out of a car with his mom, so I can get some benefits. I'm not gonna take an actual homeless student's spot when I have a nice house to go home to.
It's maddening.

Pointing that out won't change anything because she's so damn headstrong. She told me that she wasn't suppose to hit me in the same way that her siblings used to hit her last year or in 2023, I felt absolutely nothing because the damage has already been done. Of course it was her way of trying to discipline me, but it's too late for me to care at that point.
The only thing she knows how to do these days is pray for around 4 hours a day and ask Jesus to help her because she thinks she's being spiritually attacked by people who want to harm her.
