Okay faggots, here's my question.
How do I maximize the "boomer" technique of walking into places and talking to the manager, I'm sick and tired of online job searching and just want to fast track myself into getting a income.
I've tried this before but it hasn't yielded anything useful yet and it seems more like the person I talk to just takes my resume to shelf it off somewhere and let it collect dust or isn't interested in helping me. I heard calling for a follow up might help but haven't tried this yet.

Hi I called earlier this week and spoke to someone who said to come in and speak to the manager, no I don’t remember their name they said it very quickly and I am hard of hearing

then there's nothing to be done about it, just keep applying. But you should try to get some skills. When I was in your position a long time ago I went to EMT school and then did that for a while. EMS agencies are always hiring.

I've worked 4 jobs in the past but none of them I worked at for over a year, one was a call center, then a warehouse, then door to door sales, and less then a week and a half at a quick lube place before they kicked me off.

I got a job by walking in and showing the manager that I have higher than room temperature iq to use the register
