Alcohol abuse
I have the bad habit of abusing alcohol. However it only happens in a very specific context. It has to be when im with certain friends and when we meet up for a trip or a bar.

The frequency is absolutely not the problem. the problem is that when i drink in these cases I go WAY overboard. like starting to black out by the end of the night stupid. This happens to me like 5 times a year. but the rest of the time I drink very little or even nothing at all.

So the problem is, why do I at certain times drink WAY too much? most of the time i can go to a bar and keep it low enough to legally drink. Most of the time I don't even want to drink when im out and about or with anyone else other than particularly close friends.

How do I stop getting blacked out drunk with these people? I think the reason why I do it is because they are doing it and they do it because I am doing it. and we don't even do that together unless we are on a trip or if it's saturday night at the bar.

Is this even a problem? Some people act like this is normal, others act like im retarded for doing this

How about slowing the fuck down. If you’re going to get black out drunk, you do that shit alone. But don’t do it alone, bc that’s the start of a problem.

>think the reason why I do it is because they are doing it and they do it because I am doing it.
That’s where you have to not give a shit in a different way. I’ve played drinking games where they goad me and make fun of me for sipping my drink. But i don’t give a shit. I’m not going to get plastered. I’ll take part, but i don’t need to do like that. Never once have they kicked me out or anything or have i seemed “uncool”.

Just drink at your own pace, no matter what.

I won't read drunkard threads. Nothing can be done and no advice is possible.
