I finally, have been given 1 year to life- acute myeloid leukemia. I will ask a bunch of different topics, i'm ESL so my prose is messy...I'll just ask bullet-point type questions so its clear.

Must admit I'm not much for that whole "live it to the fullest kind of lifestyle, just because of death. In death nothing really matters. Would focus more on actually giving your family a good chunk of change. But sure spend some money on that spanking kinda thing if that is hot. Confessing is kinda cringe. Don't do that.

More painful for who? You will be dead. You are in a position to have control over your final contribution to the universe. If I was in your position I would at the least pick a song, a few photos and maybe write or record some final words. A thankful, grateful final hour with the people who cared enough to show up - that skips my family needing to figure out what the fuck to do.

These are your last days on Earth, commit fully to dying having done a bunch of quests, side missions and mini games on the way out of the day. But fuck dumping a bunch of baggage on people - achieves nothing and a year from now won't matter. Only exception is if you want to make peace with someone - to find closure, to resolve an old argument. Someone who might appreciate having worked something out with you before you died and could never have that conversation.

I'm not good at being one, but Im a catholic. I do hope I can just start attending daily mass 3,2 months before the estimated departure date. Now I go on sundays, I always wished I could be a devoted church-goer and go more than the bare minimum.
I want to eat junk food as much as health\digestive system allows, I never was much of an american in that regard (Im not american, Im using it as a noun for gluttony!)

I would just add when it comes to the funeral.planning dont fixate on that or overdo it.
I liked the suggestion about maybe picking some music and some final words, pictures.
But the funeral is the celebration of the deceased life by the living. There's going to be parts that your family will want to organize and do, because its really for them.

What should you do with your last year? Well because of lukemis your quality of life will fall quickly, you'll be almost dead for months, so whatever you want to do, do it straight away. Go to Paris, see Europe if you've got any money. Enemies? Put it this way, i never even think about the enemies i had in my 20s, are these really important relationships? Maybe you won't live long enough to forget about them but if you did, like most people do, you just wouldn't care. Not worth.
