How am I supposed to do NNN when I can't sleep without jacking off?
It was 3am and I couldn't sleep so I jacked off. Then it was 5am and I still couldn't sleep so I jacked off again. I still can't sleep but jacking off is the only way I know how to deal with it

anyway, i also had the same problem of feeling the need to crank it before going to sleep, done this for decades and, like you, thought it was the natural way of things for me. But then, also like you, I had nights that even if i jacked off three times in a row I still wouldn't go to sleep, which made me realize the two things weren't related. After that I started trying other things to spent my energy and found out jogging worked really well for me. I would go to sleep much faster at night regardless if I masturbated or not. Finally, recently I decided to go without fapping for an extended period of time, just to see if I can do it and i'm close to two months right now.

So yeah, if you can try to find an physical activity that really leaves you exhausted to do during the week and that'll probably help

I had sleep problems quite frequently
Also used to lie in bed listening to ASMR and working with my imagination to sleep

Mostly solved sleep issues lately, I think the most impactful things I've done are:
wake up and go to bed as much as possible at the same time every day (i'll go to bed later at most once a week)
no caffeine after 4pm
try to get as much natural light as possible during the day (especially morning, morning runs/bikes are OP) and as little artificial light at the end of the day

I tried to read before bed but I like reading smut too much so I stopped...

unfortunately by pushing through, but it does get easier fairly quickly. At least it did for me.
You have a deeply ingrained habit it seems and the only way to deal with that is stop. Stop for as long as you can and when you eventually fail don't beat yourself down and give up, but treat it as an unfortunate setback and keep going.
When I can't sleep because my brain is screaming at me to jack off or doomscroll I usually get up and walk around the flat for a while, read a book or even go on a night time walk
