Imagine you have an extrovert best friend. A person who's very outgoing, has an active circle of friends, charming, and takes control of the situation.
When you're with him, he takes you around places, he leads conversations, he introduces you to other friends, and treats you nicely. You'll probably want to be around him, you're free to be a submissive person towards him because he makes you feel safe socially. The entire experience of being around him is exiting and addictive.
That's more or less what women want. You can even get away with being a shy introvert, as long as you make a woman feel the pleasant experience of being feminine.
Now, imagine you have this very extroverted friend I talked about at first, no matter how tall, fit or whatever, except that he decides to go on 4chan to post about his insecurities, and how no one likes him, and he gets aggressive towards you when you don't give him affection, and starts getting insecure about himself. In this scenario, he produces the opposite effect, doesn't he?
